Why I made Clique
Somewhere along the way, social media stopped being about your friends. Every app is built to keep you scrolling, and posting started to feel like a performance. I made Clique to bring it back to you and the people you actually want to see.
Posting, without the pressure
One place to post.
You don't have to decide whether a moment is a story, a note, a reel or a post. Take the photo and it goes to your feed, where your friends already look.
On Home, likes stay behind a tap instead of stamped on every photo. There are no filters to fuss over, and everyone gets four posts a day, so nothing has to be perfect.

A feed that ends.
Just the people you follow, newest first. When you're caught up, you're done, and you can put your phone down. Nothing in it was picked to keep you scrolling.

Shoot. Caption. Post.
The camera is the middle tab, one swipe from anywhere. Take up to four shots, add a caption if you feel like it, and send it to your feed, a few friends, or both.

Swap a photo. Keep the streak.
Trade a photo from the camera with a friend each day and your streak grows. Those photos disappear once they're opened, and the conversation stays.

Chats that feel like a place.
One-on-one conversations with the people you actually talk to. React with an emoji, reply to a message, send a voice note or a poll. Nothing is ranked, and nothing is suggested.

Express yourself in color.
Turn on Color background from photo in Edit Profile, and your profile takes on the main color of your profile picture for everyone who visits. Clique itself is black and white, so the color comes from you.
A note from the developer
I made Clique because something about social media feels broken right now. Every app is built to push content at you and keep you in the loop. Posting has turned into a performance, everyone chasing what goes viral, and a lot of what you see doesn't feel real anymore.
Clique is my answer to that. It's just you and the people you actually want to see and talk to. Your feed is the people you follow, newest first, and it ends. There's one place to post, and the app does what it can to take the pressure off making the perfect one.
I'm building it on my own, and I care a lot about how it feels to use. I've spent more hours than I'd like to admit on details most people will never consciously notice, like how a photo opens, how a page slides back, or making sure the shutter keeps the exact frame you were looking at.
